My Low Budget Treatment For Dry, Itchy Scalp

Our Mother A'ishah (radhi Allahu anha) also narrated that " The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) used to (put) bend his head (out) to me while he was in Itikaf in the Mosque during my monthly periods and I would comb and oil his hair." How to care for hair during ghusl.

Women who braid their hair may leave the braids in place when they perform ghusl (full-body ablution) provided that the water they pour on their heads reaches the roots of the hair. 'Ubaid ibn 'Umair reported that 'Aisha discovered that 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr was ordering the women to undo their plaited hair (for ghusl). She observed, "It is amazing that Ibn 'Amr orders women to undo their plaited hair for ghusl. Why doesn't he just order them to shave their heads? I and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to bathe from one vessel, and all I did was pour three handfuls of water over my head." (Ahmad and Muslim) Assalam Alaikum Waramatulah As a Muslim hijabi, ghusl is compulsory for every woman after completing her menstruation or after sexual intercourse for married hijabis. However i have heard some hijabis complain that ghusl is causing breakage of their hairs. These sisters sadly hate ghusl times.👀 So is there a remote p...

SOS! My Hair won't grow. SOLUTIONS!!!

Saad 'Ata ibn Yasar, "Once a man came before the Prophet (peace be upon him) with his hair and beard unkempt. The Prophet (peace be upon him) made some gestures as though ordering the man to comb his hair. He did so, and upon his return, the Prophet (peace be upon him) remarked, 'Is this not better than one of you coming with disheveled hair, looking like a devil?'" (reported by Malik in Al-Muwatta) Assalam Alaikum Waramatulah, I greet you all with the best of greeting my dear hijabis. A lot of people especially non Muslims are of the opinion that hijabis have long, strong and fabulous hair, some even feel that must be the reason why hijabis hide those hairs. In my humble opinion i feel the hair is whatever you make of it. You simply reap whatever you sow ! Although genetics also plays a great deal in hair length, width and texture - A hair that does not get appropriate treatment based on it's type will not thrive. Okay that been said, why is it...

Terms And Their Applications On A Healthy Hijabi Hair Journey. Part 1

Assalam Alaikum Waramatulahi, Anas ibn Malik reports: Allah’s Messenger Mohammad (SAW) often applied lotion to his head and frequently combed his beard. He would then cover his head and his robes looked like those of an oil trader.” (Related by Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Bayhaqi and Abu Al-Shaykh.) Another version of this Hadith mentions that the Prophet very frequently used water to wet his hair when he combed his head. Note: This post is not intended to be controversial in any form. It is not the intention of the author to dissuade hijabis or would-be hijabis from using the hijab. And the author hopes that readers draw immersed knowledge of how to use hijab while maintaining fabulous hairs. Thank you Assalam Alaikum waramatulahi wabarakatu. “O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allaah is Ever Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful” [al-Ahzaab 33:59] I have been using the hijab for over two decades Masha Allah and it has been an easy journey with the help of the Almighty...
